Application for the committee of migrant entrepreneurs is now open
We are looking for active entrepreneurs to join our committee for the term 2025–2026. The application period is from September 23 to October 31, 2024.
We offer a unique opportunity to be involved in building a better Finland. We also provide the chance to learn a lot of new things.
The committee of migrant entrepreneurs
The committee’s task is to address issues concerning immigrant entrepreneurs and to consider ways to strengthen their position. The committee is also responsible for developing the work of Suomen Yrittäjät among immigrant entrepreneurs.
Committee Activities
The Board of Suomen Yrittäjät has established committees to support its decision-making. The committees bring an entrepreneurial perspective to the preparation of matters from various sectors. The general goal of the committees is to improve the operating environment for entrepreneurship.
In practice, the committees hear from experts, handle legislative projects and reforms, statements, and initiatives within their specific areas, and meet with decision-makers. Some committees also have tasks related to the development of the organization. In-person meetings are held on average twice a year. Additionally, meetings are held via Teams. Members are reimbursed for travel expenses for in-person meetings. The term of the committees is two calendar years. Each committee includes a chairperson and up to 12 members.
