Petri Salminen seeks re-election as chairperson of Suomen Yrittäjät

Petri Salminen is seeking re-election as chairperson of Suomen Yrittäjät.

Chairperson Petri Salminen announced his intention to continue as chairperson of Suomen Yrittäjät at the Influencer Forum on Sunday 24 April.

“It’s only fair that when I’ve made the decision myself, I tell you about it first. I’m standing for election to a second term in Tampere,” Salminen said in his closing remarks at the Influencer Forum.

The general assembly of Suomen Yrittäjät will elect a chairperson for the next two-year term in October in Tampere.

Petri Salminen was elected Suomen Yrittäjät chairperson in October 2020.

He has been an entrepreneur for two decades. Salminen’s company, Salminen & Tikka Oy, provides sales and leadership development and recruitment services. 

Since the start of 2022, Salminen has served as president of the European SME umbrella organization SMEunited.
