International Call
International Call (IC) is an internationalization program for SMEs in North Savonia, conducted over the period 2024-2026 and managed by Savon Yrittäjät, the regional association of entrepreneurs. The purpose of IC is to help North Savonian SMEs successfully advance to selected international markets.
As part of the program, the participating companies are provided training and sparring support. Additionally, IC arranges two foreign trips for the participants, aimed at making inroads into new markets. The first trip is made to Northern Sweden in 2025 and the second to Poland in 2026.
What does all this cost you? Fortunately, not much. The participating companies only have to pay the self-financed portion of the aforementioned two trips; all other IC services are free of charge for the participants. This is due to the fact that the program is funded by the North Savo ELY Centre (the regional local office of the Finnish government) and the Regional Council of Pohjois-Savo.
