New memberships of Suomen Yrittäjät committees for 2025–2026

The board of Suomen Yrittäjät, the Finnish SME association, selected new members for the committees and the labour market delegation on 17 Dec. 2024.

There was an open application process for the committees and the labour market delegation. The committees’ term of office is two years. The members were selected for the 2025–2026 term of office. Half the members of the labour market delegation are reselected annually.

Suomen Yrittäjät committees and labour market delegation

The committees make an impact on the policies of Suomen Yrittäjät and made proposals on issues that the association ought to raise and change.

“The committees’ goal is to improve the entrepreurial environment throughout Finland. The committees provide issues for the association’s board’s and specialists’ agendas, consult experts, discuss new issues in their specialized areas and meet decision makers,” says Hannamari Heinonen, Development Manager at Suomen Yrittäjät.

The committees each have a chair and up to 12 members.

The labour market delegation is specified by the rules of the association as a delegation tasked with monitoring developments in collective bargaining policy and labour legislation, participate in preparing legislation and other actions which influence the labour markets, and prepare labour-policy position papers, statements and initiatives for the board of the association.
